Baby boomers beware: this sharp-witted play is all about you and your children…and it’s not all good
Red Stitch Actor's Theatre presents Love, Love, Love by Mark Bartlett.
Love, Love, Love is about the baby boomer generation. It expores how the baby boomer generation has affected the next generation. It’s a sharp critique of the baby boomer generation, but it also celebrated their bygone glory.
The years is 1967. Keneth and Sandra meet on the night of the first global TV show on which the Beatles sang “All You Need Is Love’. Kenneth, a lost and drunken man, and Sandra, a free spirit, make an instant connection. Flash forward to 1990 and they have become well-off and middle class yet apathetic to their children. They face the looming destruction of their marriage and deal with their issues.
Love, Love, Love explores romance, treachery, fidelity and infidelity. Nevertheless, it is funny and delightful.
